Mike Daniels, better known as “Sixx”, has had an infatuation with motorcycles most of his life. When he arrived at JenningsGP for his first track day several years ago, he was instantly hooked. Since that time, he has spent a minimum of one weekend a month riding at a track somewhere in the Southeast. He has been an instructor for several organizations, including Sportbike Tracktime, RPM Race School and Martinelli Motorsports. This will be his first full season in the WERA Southeast Sportsman Series and he plans to compete in B Superstock, C Superstock, B Superbike, C Superbike and Mediumweight Solo 20 at all Southeast events this year. His current bike is a 2003 Yamaha R-6 aptly named “Eleanor”. He will also be competing in the WERA National Endurance Series for Wizard Racing this season on a 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600. Mike and his wife Julie own and operate Current Demands, Inc., an electrical service company in metro Atlanta. His goals for this year include increasing sponsorship, decreasing lap times and having fun competing in the sport he loves.
